Hot, Ripped and Tanned at Boyz Town

It was very late on a Saturday night. I had just finished a delicious seafood dinner in Jomtien with some friends. They were all being boring and didn’t want to go out and headed home. I was bored, alone, a little drunk and feeling horny. I saw a baht bus heading toward Pattaya so jumped on it. Rattling along the way all I could think about was finding a ripped, tanned Thai guy to fuck. I’m versatile but that night I just wanted to be dominate and fuck some tight Thai ass. When I got there I headed straight for Boyz Town. There were quite a few guys around, so I settled into a bar and started drinking some Singha beer hoping that I would find a nice guy who wanted to get their ass banged hard.

A drink waiter came over and asked to sit with me. I said “sure why not”. He was not really my type, too white and too feminine but he was friendly and had a nice smile. We got talking about all the usual stuff and I bought him a few drinks. It was enjoyable sitting with him. Time passed quickly and it was already 2am. As I looked around I could see people heading home and the soi  was thinning out quickly. None of the guys around attracted my eye and was thinking that I had missed out. I decided I would just go home and wank and started walking off down the soi.

Towards the end of the soi it was quite dark, there were just a few people around. As I walked onto the main street someone touched me on the shoulder from behind. I looked around and a gorgeous Thai guy was standing there and he said “hey hi”. He was hot, ripped and tanned! He was wearing tight dark blue jeans and a white tshirt. He was perfect!! My hormones went into overdrive and my dick went rock hard. We got talking and I asked straight out if he wanted to fuck. He said “yeah lets do it”. No time to waste, we headed to a short term hotel off the soi.

We got to our room… I took control and started kissing him and took off his tshirt. His body was so hot, I just wanted to lick every square inch of it. I unbuttoned my jeans and my hard dick sprung out from my undies. He immediately went down on his knees and started sucking me off. I grabbed his head and face fucked him. It felt so good!

I pulled him up and started sucking his nipples and slowly moved towards the button of his jeans. I then headed towards his hard dick pressed against the tight denim. I sucked his dick through his jeans and slowly unbuttoned his jeans. His dick literally exploded out of his undies as I took all 6 inches of it deep into my mouth.

As with me, he face fucked me. I moved my attention to his balls and then up under to his ass. His ass had a light covering of black hair in his crack. I licked every inch of it, over and over again. Finally I focused on his tight cherry hole. He started rubbing the side of my face and said “just fuck me!” I said I need a condom, he said “don’t worry about it just fuck my ass”. I bent him over and rubbed my dick over his crack, finally focusing on his hole. He said “do it!” I thrust it up there, he moaned loudly but it went in first go. I fucked his Thai ass slowly to start off with and then ripped into him. I pounded his ass for a good 10 minutes and then pulled out. As I did he looked back, I grabbed his head and exploded over his face. He exploded all over the bed at the same time. His ass was so tight which made it so good!. We embraced and fell to the bed and instantly feel asleep holding each other.

When I awoke he was holding me, his dick was hard and pressed up my ass. It felt so good and warm. But I didn’t want to be fucked then, so I pushed him over and started sucking him off. I moved my dick up over his head and we both sucked each other in the 69 position. It didn’t take long and we both cum over each other. He told me he has to hang out with a friend today, I said “why don’t we do something adventurous today, we can all hang out together”. He said “yeah, let’s do that” so we got up and had a shower together. After the shower I made him a coffee and we started talking. I felt bad as I didn’t even know his name, so I asked. His name is Tae. He then said “let’s go and meet my friend” with a big smile.

As we were walking out the door I thought of vinapu from Gay Thailand forum for a second who would have luved what happened last night as hes into shirtless, ripped Thai guys wearing tight jeans.

Sunday brought about a unexpected gay threesome on a beach.

Thailand’s Gay Chat Forums… Do They Have a Future? – Part 2

The weirdest thread on gaythailand is one with by far the largest number of views and posts – over 240,000 and 3,250 respectively!! This contains photos of young Asian guys, naked only from the waist up with an occasional nude rear shot. Not a dick to be seen! WTF! Weird? Well, yes, because you can see vastly more revealing photos on several dozen tumblr sites every day.

This semi-naked photo thread was started by a poster named ‘Fountainhall’. Over the years he has flitted between most of the Boards. From what we have read his posts are sometimes painstakingly long. To be fair, though, they do contain some interesting historical background. Having lived and worked in Asia for more than three decades, or so he claims, these posts carry a certain authority, despite their length!

Gaybutton Thai home page – Click to see full sized image – gaybuttonthai.com

Defections from one forum to another are not unusual. Nor is posting on all three. One who left gaythailand at the time of Scooby’s take-over was ‘Gaybutton’ who lives in Pattaya. Having been a moderator on gaythailand.com for years, he decided to set up Gaybuttonthai.com, taking a number of gaythailand regulars with him, presumably many of them friends in Pattaya.

Unlike the other two owners, Gaybutton posts almost daily on his own site. This has a fair amount of useful information about gay bar openings and closings, cafés and restaurants and general goings on about Pattaya and Jomtien. But the posting membership is really small, perhaps because Gaybutton is also known for the “iron fist” which he resolutely wields when he thinks a discussion has got out of hand. He has banned a number of posters who then reappear on other sites and gleefully write unpleasant things about him.

Sawatdeenetwork.com, the longest lasting Thailand forum, has had a chequered history. It was noted for having more of an edge about it, and also being more “in”, in the sense that more members seemed to know each other personally and would happily slag each other off.

For some years the forum was run by the owner of a Pattaya go-go bar named Neal. Not a well man, he eventually became a vastly disliked tyrant who gaily posted lurid and libellous comments about his own members. Eventually he sold the Board to the present owners. Soon after, he died on a flight back to the USA. Few mourned his passing.

Now owned and run by two guys from Vancouver and Moscow, sawatdeenetwork is becoming more of a general travel site with an excellent section, Siam Roads, offering genuine gay tour guides in many Asian locations. The chat room forum still has its petty fights from time to time. The poster ‘Arsenal’ is now working somewhere in China but judging from his posts he thoroughly dislikes the Chinese! His desires are straight money boys. Another with that same desire is ‘Latintopxxx’, who has also lived in Asia but talks with utter disdain about the boys he “uses”. Whether Latin’s activities – and indeed Latin himself – are mere figments of a bored imagination or actual fact, no one really knows.

And isn’t that a key problem with many chat room forums? Who is real? Who is fiction? We just don’t know. As far as the Thailand chat room history is concerned, some posters have definitely been fiction. Just recently gaythailand banned a clutch of trolls and sawatdeenetwork banned a hydra posting as two quite different characters.

The most outrageous troll, though, was a rather fascinating character using the name ‘Beachlover’. Purporting to be a successful late-20s Asian business owner living and brought up in Sydney, Beachlover pulled the wool over many readers’ eyes for a very long time. He liked a lavish lifestyle for one so young, with a preference for 4- and 5-star hotels on his quarterly visits to Asia.

His first posts were mostly inconsequential one-liners. Soon, though, he was taking aim at a number of regular posters, especially those who lived in Pattaya which he delighted in calling Shitsville by the Sea! So obnoxious did he become that owners finally agreed he be consigned to history. Whoever he was – probably some wizened, lame septuagenarian eeking out a mediocre pension in Pattaya – he had obviously spent considerable time fleshing out his fake identity.

Gaybuttonthai’s heavy moderation combined with his forum being much more geared towards Pattaya-based expats probably means there is less room for trolls. But that Pattaya base is inevitably small and barring a recent very long thread about Donald Trump, it is obviously of interest only to its existing members and some regular visitors. In a recent poll taken about that Trump thread, just 14 posters bothered to vote, a sure sign this long thread is dominated by a tiny number of posters.

How many members each site has is difficult to work out, if only because names of posting members are maintained even though they haven’t posted for many years. We decided to look for ourselves at the number of posters and non-posting viewers to each site to see if this would provide a better guide to a Board’s popularity. On Sunday February 12 between 07:00 pm and 14:30 pm GMT, we found the following –

Gaythailand.com: 27 posts/20 other members viewing/464 guests viewing
Sawatdeenetwork.com: 8 posts/75 other members viewing/1,853 guests viewing
Gaybuttonthai.com: 30 posts/8 other members viewing/200 guests viewing

So, a tiny number of posting members but far higher guest viewership. Yet even these figures are misleading. Gaythailand only lists members viewing over the previous 60 minutes; gaybuttonthai those over the last 24 hours; sawatdeenetwork only those online at the moment you check the site. Taking that into consideration, though, sawatdeenetwork obviously wins hands down.

A snapshot flash poll is understandably unfair. Also, the gaybuttonthai numbers are skewed as a result of the popularity of that one Trump thread accounting for 22 of the 30 posts. Indeed, as we write, that one topic has reached almost 1,000 posts – far more by a long chalk than all the other posts put together during the period it has been eunning.

Based on these very simple findings, though, not one of the gaythailand sites is the hive of activity we expected. Given the number of gay tourists Thailand regularly attracts we had thought the chat rooms would be more varied in terms of topics and membership from different parts of the world.

Amazing Thailand!

Amazing Thailand!

The obvious question then is: why are so many viewing the various forums but not bothering to contribute? Who are these lurkers? Where are they based? What are they seeking? A vicarious thrill from just reading of the sexploits of others?

The second question is for how long will the owners continue to pump time and cash into the sites when the advertising dollars they attract can be no more than peanuts. Also, in the early days of the internet some gay domain names could be bought and sold for large sums. No longer!

So where does that leave Thailand’s forums? As we suggest above, without more participating members we suspect two may be living on borrowed time – or will continue only as long as the owners remain interested. Of the three, sawatdeenetwork seems to us to have more going for it, and is therefore likely continue for longer. Nevertheless we wish all three and their readers well.

Thailand’s Gay Chat Forums… Do They Have a Future? – Part 1

Do you live in Thailand? An expat retired there? Perhaps you visit occasionally? Or is Thailand on your plans for the future?

Think back for a moment to the 1980s and 1990s when it was a must-visit country for many from the west and the Antipodes. Where else could gay men of all ages be so free? After landing at the old Don Mueang airport, you could cast aside all your inhibitions, all the prejudice back home, and just relax in wonderful tropical heat amongst some of the most beautiful and willing young guys on the planet.

If you were one of the lucky ones, we wonder where you picked up your information about the gay scene then. We suppose the further back you go in time the more likely it was either from friends who had visited or guides like Spartacus, then a bible covering much of the world even though its information was not always current. The internet then brought a flood of detail. Soon the delights of Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Phuket all unfolded on your computer screen. Thailand became even more desirable for those who could afford it.

Yet more useful information began to emerge as a variety of gay chat forums sprang up. A few evenings glancing at some of the Thailand forums would give a first-time visitor almost all the nightlife information he’d need to cover a full fortnight’s itinerary.

Gay forums, though, inevitably pose a series of problems, two key ones being ownership and posting membership. Starting up and maintaining a basic chat forum is not expensive. As long as an owner has something to say and can attract a group of members keen to post their views and experiences, in theory he can keep it going until either he gets fed up or just dies – and both have occurred in recent years with Thai forums.

The members are a different kettle of fish. Some are enthusiastic and post regularly, a few regarding the forum with a sort of proprietorial air and getting pissed off when too many contrarian views appear. Some merely comment occasionally, expanding a dialogue rather than originating new threads. And, of course, there will always be the handful of lurkers whose aim is disruption. The cloak of anonymity offered by the internet breeds a certain domineering type for whom there is a need solely to criticize and generally act like a spoiled brat. Take this to extremes and the trolls and hydras appear, those pathetic bullies whose only desire is destruction in one form or another.

Just as Thailand’s gay scene rose up and is now in the process of some decline, so its chat forums are seeing some problems. We decided therefore to take a brief look at the three main Thai sites still operating – gaythailand.com, gaybuttonthai.com and sawatdeenetwork.com.

Gay Thailand home page - Click to see full sized image - gaythailand.com

Gay Thailand home page – Click to see full sized image – gaythailand.com

Gaythailand.com is a great site name. You’d expect this to be every newcomer’s first choice. It appears to have started up at least 15 years ago. According to our sources, the original owner was one who still posts under the name ‘Michael’. An American, he travels extensively. Each year he makes long multi-week visits to Thailand where he admits to having two long-term boyfriends who always stay with him. Oddly, at least we think so, both are bi-sexual – one reportedly has a wife and a son. How this ménage-a-trois works, given that Michael has also posted of his many other very gay sexcapades when in Thailand, is another curiosity – but obviously none of our business. Well, that’s our official answer – but we sure would love to know!

About six years ago Michael decided to sell the site to an American gay couple. They were to be moving to Chiang Mai a couple of years later and planned to run the site as a retirement hobby. These new owners rarely post on their site. When they do it’s under the name ‘Scooby’, for years accompanied by a huge cartoon of a dog! Now the dog has mercifully disappeared. But who Scooby really is, no-one seems to know or care.

Whether Scooby really cares about ‘their’ site is a different matter. For gaythailand is not just a forum. It purports to be as much a travel site where anyone can pick up a mass of information on all things gay in Thailand as well as a good deal more. So on its messy home page you can click all manner of boxes. City guides, endless lists of Bangkok’s go-go bars, restaurants, hotels etc. and the same in Pattaya and elsewhere. The problem is: these lists are out of date.

In the Bangkok listings, we’re told several go-go bars, massage spas and restaurants have been closed for years. Then there’s the quality of the information. Clicking on an establishment opens a short thread linked to it. Not a good idea in some cases! One poster writes about Café des Fleurs: “80% of the information in the listing was meaningless, misleading or wrong!” Ooops!

That refers to Scooby’s initial description of the café. Surely a pretty lousy start for any newbie visiting your home page! That critique got up the nose of the poster ‘Firecat69’ who replied: “Anyone who thinks every listing should be perfect has too much time on his hands and thinks that everyone sits on their ASS reading and correcting listings on Forums.” Ahem! Excuse me! What, we wonder, is the point of including gay venue listings on a gay site if they are inaccurate or don’t exist?

The Chiang Mai listings are worse. Of course in an ever-changing gay scene maintaining up-to-date lists is a big job. But if site owners are not prepared to do that, why include listings in the first place?

Two of the most frequent posters on gaythailand are this same ‘Firecat69’ and ‘Vinapu’. The former, an American in his 60s, spent some years living in Bangkok. He now travels extensively on business, stays in 4- and 5-star hotels and returns to Bangkok regularly where daily he beds money boys mostly from the gay apps. As befits his screen name, he sometimes betrays little patience with other posters. Firecat69 is not one to cross!

Vinapu’s screen persona is a more gentle character. His passion is massage. This guy loves massages and writes extensively about them. Also on gaythailand many members are into muscle boys, the type employed at Bangkok’s famous Tawan Bar.

Less than a handful of posters are non-westerners. Most of those visiting seem to be on a budget, certainly where hotels are concerned, no doubt to free up enough cash for regularly nightly sexcapades. Some, though, have oodles of cash. In a thread about security for valuables, one named ‘Voldemar’ openly boasted, “I keep gold in several self-deposit (sic) boxes throughout the world!” Wow! Wonder if he sails to Thailand on his yacht!

This is also the forum to check if you are into very detailed trip reports with the most intimate 24-hour details of entire holidays in Pattaya and Bangkok, even down to the shagging in all its variety. If that’s your turn-on, there’s plenty here. But it really does get pretty boring (unless it is about a genuine new travel experience as in a recent series of posts about Myanmar). Isn’t a shag a shag, whether you are top, bottom or in the middle of a sandwich? Who wants to know who plays what part, how big dicks are and how far a barboy cums? One man’s meat, I suppose.

Gay Pattaya – Relaxation, Gay Jomtien Alive and Korean Chicken that’s out of this World!

Welcome to Gay Pattaya

Welcome to Gay Pattaya

My plan for Pattaya was simple! No sightseeing, no shopping, just a week of relaxation, swimming, drinking, food and sun tanned Thai beach guys. We stayed in the bungalows at Villa Navin at the southern end of Jomtien beach road. I wouldn’t recommend any of their other accommodation apart from the pool hut villas which have great privacy and are positioned right next to the pool. It’s a bit far from everything but that wasn’t a problem as you can easily get to everywhere on the songthaew baht buses. I wanted to be somewhere relaxing away from all the noise and lights of the tourist areas anyways. We hit the swimming pool and in the evening went out for a walk along the beach and had dinner.

Villa Navin Swimming Pool and Bungalows

Villa Navin Swimming Pool and Bungalows

The next day we went to Jomtien’s gay beach which is located north of the police box at the Jomtien junction near the Bamboo gay bar. This is known as Dong Tan beach. It wasn’t busy early but as the day drew on more and more gay people arrived, including street guys who cruise the beach looking for customers.

Jomtien Gay Beach

When you get there grab a spot and sit back on one of the many beach deck chairs. There are lots of beach chair concessions here but the one with orange umbrellas just after the circular public toilet is mostly a dedicated gay area. The staff that look after each area will have menus available for you to order drinks and food which is all delivered from nearby restaurants. Numerous vendors will also approach you selling souvenirs, snacks or offering gay massage or temporary tattoos to make you look tough LOL!!

Deck Chairs on Jomtien Gay Beach

From the comfort of your chair look around and gay activities are evident such as gay beach volleyball, gay massage, guys chatting up each other and some more romantic stuff. I turned on Grindr and it instantly went crazy with cyber guys messaging me offering massage and gay sex services. A young dark Burmese guy kept hounding me, so I gave in and took advantage of his special services the next day at the pool hut villa.

The sun was setting, it was hot, we were starving and in Thailand so Thai food was the obvious choice. We found a restaurant next to BB House which is located as you exit the beach area. We ordered Pad Thai, the plates were huge and it was yummy! It’s become a bit of a tradition to have some relaxing drinks at Bamboo before hitting Jomtien Complex gay area. Bamboo is located near the police box junction and next to 711. They have some delightful bar boys on staff who are happy to sit and chat with you.

Bamboo Gay Bar Jomtien Beach

When we arrived at Jomtien Complex, I was pleasantly surprised that all the bars had clientele. When I was there a number of years ago the place was much smaller and all but dead. But it’s come alive and as the night went on all the bars became packed and the whole area was rockin’ with gay activity. Hot Thai guys were numerous looking for a customer to go home with for the night. Jomtien Complex is filled with bars and has a great cabaret show in The Venue but there aren’t any gogo bars.

The Venue

My favourite bar was Cocka2Bar which is owned by an Aussie guy. It has a really relaxed and cosy atmosphere. The guys are friendly and are happy to challenge you to a game of eight ball or billiards at the back of the bar. I lost BTW! The bar boys were way too good for me.

Cocka2Bar

The next few days we spent swimming at the villa swimming pool and at the beach. Plenty of relaxation, sun bathing, eating and drinking. We also went to Pattaya to watch a bright and colourful street parade put on by the local temples.

The last few nights we hit Boyz Town as my friend wanted to watch all the boy and cabaret shows. The boy shows were entertaining, well presented with good story lines and plenty of attractive Thai guys who showed off their hard cocks and simulated gay sex with each other. My cock was rock hard the whole time! The cabaret shows are more toned down and feature drag queens with plenty of singing, music and dancing.

Cafe Royal Gay Cabaret

Boyz Town is the epicentre of the gay sex industry in Pattaya. It appears to have grown a bit over the years and has overflowed into some of the neighbouring sois. I didn’t notice the hard sell that was starkly evident in Bangkok. The outdoor-type bars that open onto the soi seemed most popular and there were plenty of gay tourists around having a relaxing evening drink. I did notice that it attracts many more straight tourists (or closet gays) these days who I guess are curious to have a look around and check out the vast array of hot male talent on offer. There are numerous gay massage bars with boys eager to please and wanting to make you feel great! Most of the drinkers in Boyz Town are tourists these days and the expats have mostly moved to Jomtien and that’s likely why its become so busy there. Whatever type of guy you prefer, you will find that person at Boyz Town.

There is so much glorious food in Pattaya. From a dining point of view, seafood was the highlight. We went to many seafood restaurants where the selection was vast, fresh and delicious. The favourite dish for me was deep fried red tilapia served with sweet and sour chili and local Thai herbs. I acquired a new taste for Vietnamese iced coffee which was refreshing in the glaring sun and humidity.

I stumbled across Bon Chon Korean friend chicken near Burger King and I’m glad that I did. My friend and I went in and its sooooooooo tasty! I was in fried heaven!! It was totally crave-worthy chicken!! The wings and strips have a unique flavour which is out of this world! The chili, soy and garlic glaze on the chicken is what makes it. There are plenty of side dishes too, like fries, salads, rice bowls, fish and dumplings. The only problem was we ordered way to much but managed to eat it all eventually 🙂

You will never go home lonely in Gay Pattaya! For fast paced action and gay sex shows, hit Boyz Town. For a relaxing drink, Jomtien is for you. Both locations have plenty of gorgeous Thai guys cruising around looking for gay sex. I also noticed a lot more international gay guys around working the streets. Not just from all over Asia but also from Europe and South America. In Gay Pattaya… If you want your dick sucked, someone will suck it. If you want to suck cock, there is plenty to suck. If you want your ass fucked, someone will fuck it. If you want to fuck some tight ass, you’ll find it in Gay Pattaya!! 🙂

Bangkok Gay Bang – A Bar Scam, Hot Threesome and King Kong

Hahaha! Red Ferrari Stuck in a Bangkok Traffic Jam!

Hahaha! Red Ferrari Stuck in a Bangkok Traffic Jam!

I was really looking forward to a fun time in Bangkok but that was about to change. We got the airport rail link from Suvarnabhumi airport to Phaya Thai. There were four of us with bags and it was jammed packed and uncomfortable. I was just happy to get to the end of the line. We got into two taxis and headed for the Red Planet Hotel on Surawong. We were only staying in Bangkok for one night initially and decided on a cheap hotel close to the Bangkok gay areas. For an overnight stay it’s modern, clean and comfortable but the rooms are very small.

Have a Beer with Ice and Unwind

Have a Beer with Ice and Unwind

The taxi dropped us off and left. A few minutes later I was checking my jeans for my phone and I suddenly had a sinking feeling. I realised that I had left my new mobile phone on the seat of the taxi. I was planning to meet up with a friend Yaya but couldn’t contact him and started panicking a bit. For the next few hours I tried contacting the taxi company to get them to radio the taxi and talking to the security guard to find out if they had recorded the taxi rego number on the vehicle movement log that they keep. All to no avail.

All this time my friends who wanted to hit the gay bars had been patiently waiting for me. Eventually we headed off for a meal along Surawong Road and then towards Soi Twilight. All the time I was thinking how for the rest of my holiday I was going to be able to communicate with friends, family and even do simple things like banking as everything I needed was on the phone. I felt naked without it.

Soi Twilight - bulbatalks.wordpress.com

Soi Twilight – bulbatalks.wordpress.com

We arrived at Soi Twilight and I just wasn’t in the mood. Making it worse as we were passing by bars we were almost dragged inside them by groups of guys standing at the doors. Even after saying “sorry… no”, they still kept hassling us. They were so in your face!

We eventually sat down in front of one of the bars and started drinking. The beers with ice went down really well. I started relaxing a bit and called over a dark Thai guy. I assumed he was from Isarn and indeed he was. I liked him, we got on well, drinking and talking about different stuff. He put his hand on my leg and I moved my hand onto the top of his jeans. He grabbed my hand and moved it down further to feel his dick. It was big, rock hard and warm. I wanted it then and there. We kept chatting and I kept holding his erect cock. After an hour my Aussie friend wanted to move on so I said goodbye to Somkid and gave him a tip.

Thai Big Boy

Thai Big Boy

Next stop was another outdoors-type bar. My friend knew the owner there so we settled in and started drinking more Thai Beer. Another guy come over to me. He was dark and he told me that he was from Cambodia. He was much younger than the last guy. He was wearing really tight jeans and his ass looked so inviting! After an hour we decided to move on and I said goodbye to Ben and gave him a tip.

We then went to a bar where my Aussie friend knew one of the Go-go boys named Yai. We were welcomed and drinks were pushed on us outside which we thought was a nice gesture by the bar owner, but as it turned out it was not a free gesture and we were immediately billed for them. Once we got inside boys surrounded us and wanted boy drinks and to be taken away for the night. My Thai is quite good but even that didn’t help me at keeping them at bay. We had only been there ten minutes and it was announced that it was just ten minutes till closing. All the lights were turned on and two managers came over and said “right you have got drinks for all these guys” and pointed to five or six guys “and you’re taking away these two guys”. I said WTF in shock!! LOL I hadn’t agreed to anything and had only ordered a drink each for Yai and his friend. We just paid and left a little shocked by the whole experience. Yai contacted my friend the next day to apologise for what happened at the bar and said they do it to generate big bills per customer and maximum profit for the bar owner.

Let's Do It

Let’s Do It

We started walking home and as we were exiting Soi Twilight Somkid came over and wanted to hang out with me. I told my friends I was going off with him and they headed back to the Red Planet Hotel. I went off with Somkid towards a karaoke bar. Suddenly Ben came over and wanted to join us, so I said sure. Why not?. I liked both of them anyways. For the next hour we drank and sang Thai rock songs like Jai Sung Mah by Sek Loso and Kwan Thai Jai Nueng Deaw by Carabao. I was bursting so I went to the toilet. When I came back they asked if I wanted to go to a short-term hotel for a threesome. I was feeling horny and in the mood so said “lets do it, lets fuck each other”.

The minute the hotel room door closed we all quickly undressed and to my surprise we were all hard. I took that as a good sign of things to cum. Somkid was so big!! Hung very nicely!! No time for a shower together, we jumped on the bed and started sucking each other off. It was so good being with two dark skinned horny Asian guys again. I wanted Ben’s tight ass and started rimming him. At the same time Somkid started fingering my hole and lubing it up. Ben was loving it! He told me to fuck him… So I did.

After about five minutes and Somkid came over behind me… I knew what he wanted! I paused fucking Ben and Somkid just rammed his Asian meat up me. As soon as he did I came in Ben’s ass and pulled out. Somkid kept fucking me harder and harder. It was really good having his Thai rod up me. After about ten minutes he pulled out of me and grabbed Ben around the waist, pulled his ass up and started fucking him. Within a minute he blew his huge load inside him. Ben fell to the bed exhausted but still hard. I went down on him and sucked him off. He blew immediately in my mouth. It was delicious! We all smiled and had a shower together. When we got outside we headed off in three different directions. We didn’t take each others’ numbers and never saw each other again. 🙁

The next day we travelled to Pattaya but returned to Bangkok a week later and hit more gay bars. I bought a new phone in Pattaya BTW. When we returned to Bangkok we stayed at the Pinnacle Hotel near Lumpini Park. It’s a dump, the whole hotel has a really strange pungent smell, the service is crap and the food even worse. Don’t stay there! After two days we moved down the road to the IBIS Hotel Sathorn. Apparently another good option is the Malaysia Hotel across the road but it was booked out.

I took advantage of the gay massage bars in the Lumpini area. The guys are nice and give strong and soothing massages. I liked it so much I had two a day whilst I was in Bangkok. Silom Soi 4 was way more laid back and relaxing than Soi Twilight. We hit Balcony Bar (opposite Telephone Pub) two nights running and had a lovely fun time there.

I’ve done all the usual sightseeing stuff before in Bangkok but this trip I wanted to visit the Chatuchak weekend market again and have a good look around the pet section. It’s grown much bigger and there is everything from dogs and squirrels to tropical fish and yabbies. At the regular market section you will find displays like the batmobile, cheap clothing, home wares, souvenirs, nicknacks and much more. Don’t forget to barter a bit and you will bag a bargain! You can easily spend a whole day there.

What makes it more enjoyable is wherever you look, there are gorgeous Thai guys. Some working, some shopping, some relaxing and some cruising and best of all, most are wearing tight jeans 🙂

A friend invited to me to lunch and told me that we should try King Kong Yakiniku Buffet, a new chain in Bangkok. I was really hungry and was expecting to eat a lot being a buffet and named King Kong, but was thinking the quality would not be the best. I was wrong…. it was delicious and we had a wonderful time chatting and eating over two hours which is the all-you-can-eat time limit per table. The food selection is vast and includes all types of meats and seafood, tasty dipping sauces plus a range of tropical drinks and desserts. Definitely try the scallops, muscles and giant fresh water prawns. We kept ordering dish after dish of seafood. I think it was 550 baht per person and be warned they charge for any uneaten food… so eat everything that you order and enjoy!

Ubon Ratchathani’s Unique Candle Festival Parade

Apart from the water-splashing Songkran Festival in April and Loy Krathong (on November 15 later this year), few visitors to Thailand know about any of the country’s lesser but equally picturesque Festivals (unless, of course, they have read AsiaGuys.NET and already know about the Dansai Ghost Festival)! Yet Thailand boasts so many local Festivals it is a shame that at least some are not better known.

One is the unique Candle Festival Parade held in the eastern city of Ubon Ratchathani. This marks the start of Buddhist Lent. Like other Festivals, the Parade’s dates are dependent on the lunar calendar. It always takes place on Wan Khao Pansa or the day after the main Buddhist holiday of Asanha Bucha which falls on the full moon of the 8th lunar month. Usually this is in July.

Ubon, known as the “Royal City of the Lotus”, and its 270,000 inhabitants nestle on the west bank of Thailand’s second largest river, not far from the mighty Mekong and the borders with Laos and Cambodia. The Parade itself is the culmination of a three-week wax carving Festival. When I first learned about it I assumed it was just a procession of townspeople carrying lit candles along with some elements of Thai culture. I could not have been more wrong, for its scale is immense.

For about a month, artisans employed by each of the temples – and Ubon’s are particularly interesting and beautiful – carve hugely elaborate scenes from Buddhist history and tradition. Made from beeswax and set on large floats atop open trucks, these are towed into position early the following morning ready to form the main element of a giant procession through the city. When I visited a few years ago, there were so many floats of differing sizes I completely lost count of the number.

Yet this is not merely a procession of beautifully carved floats, for it seems to include almost everyone in the community. Young men from the University parade, some carrying beautiful girls on bamboo platforms. Groups of older ladies take part in Thai dancing. Schoolchildren in traditional colourful Thai costumes march whilst holding aloft a variety of banners. Early in the morning, a fleet of buses brought tourists from other parts of Isaan along with some Japanese tourists. Surprisingly, at least I thought so given the scale and magnificence of the event, I was one of perhaps only a dozen westerners watching the Parade. So unusual was I that several young children stopped and asked for photographs with me. (I do love being popular!)

Candle Festivals take place in several Thai towns and cities. Ubon’s, though, is by far the largest and most magnificent. One problem for tourists used to be the lack of good accommodation within the city itself. I booked my air ticket six months in advance and then tried to book the one three-star hotel close to the centre, the Laithong. It was completely full. They offered to put me on the wait-list, but three weeks prior to the Festival, I still had no hotel and was seriously considering cancelling. Thankfully, it was the Laithong that had a cancellation which I immediately snapped up. Life is easier if you have a car or motorbike, as there are several good hotels and resorts outside the city.

If you go, make sure you are also there a full day before the Parade. Take time to visit many of the temples and watch in awe as the craftsmen put the finishing touches to their huge wax floats, some measuring up to 20 meters in length. Outside the city centre, you will see small local parades as groups under colourful awnings take their small wax offerings to the temples. Not much happens the day after the Parade, though. Watching the fabulous wax floats being dismantled was quite depressing. On the other hand it was good to realise that the wax itself is melted down for re-use the following year.

With a major University, there is a good chance you will find some handsome guys on the apps interested to meet up. There were no gay bars, but the city’s one gay sauna seems still to be open. Relaxing Sauna is in a Thai-style house located on a small soi leading down to the river off Thanon Prommarat. Because the soi numbering is totally illogical, it took me a long time to find. There were only a few guys on my visit and it was quite difficult to see them clearly as the whole place was quite dark – and the cruising darkroom pitch black! But it was certainly possible to have a good time or arrange a hook-up later at your hotel. Since public transport closes quite early, once again a car or a rented motorbike is useful. It will be a long walk back to your hotel unless you can hitch a lift!

What is Happening to Gay Chiang Mai?

I am frequently asked, “Where’s the gay scene now?” when friends discuss Chiang Mai. Sure, it’s still a lovely city and makes a delightful change for a few days from the hustle of Bangkok or the chaos of Pattaya (particularly the traffic chaos)! Yet once a small gay haven, Chiang Mai’s gay scene has been slowly contracting. Long gone are the days of Coffee Boy on the left side of the River Ping, of the lovely through mostly under-used gay spa on the banks of the river just on the southern outskirts of the town (I forget the name – was it Sparoma?). Gone too are many of the massage parlours – River House Massage, B-Beez, Gemini, M2M and a host of others. The bar scene, too, has seen lots of changes. The famous Peak climbing wall at the Night Market burned down some years ago and the cluster of about 15 small gay bars either disappeared or moved further back down the little soi to an area behind the D2 hotel. Now that too has disappeared.

Not even the go-go bars have been immune to change. The most famous of them all, Adam’s Apple changed management a few years ago but after a rocky start seems to have reestablished its position. It was refurbished again last year and now has pleasant seating, a good bunch of go-go boys and interesting shows.

Circle Pub always had a touch of class about its shows, but now caters much more for Thais with hunkier, more masculine guys. And then of course there is New My Way. This has also been open for ages and still includes a touch of nudity in its shows. But you will find that many – if not most – of the boys working in these bars are not Thai. They will often come from the Shan areas on the border with Myanmar. Sadly the vast majority are straight. The most recent reports suggest that their nocturnal activities once you get them to your hotel will leave a great deal to be desired. Better to find excitement at the massage parlours or the few regular bars. 2 Brothers Massage close to Le Meridien still operates out of a lovely Thai house, I highly recommend His Club in a small soi not far from the huge Holiday Inn, and there are several others around the city.

The go-go bars are handily situated in the Chang Puak area in the northwest of the city with a number of inexpensive hotels close by, including the Mercure, the Lotus just across from Adam’s Apple and a good place to have a drink at their Garden Bar, the huge Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew in a large shopping complex, and the excellent small gay guest-house, P J’s Place.

Did he Bang him? - www.gaythailand.com

Did he Bang him? – www.gaythailand.com

Perhaps the biggest disaster of all was the demise of what many felt was far too risky an experiment. The Lanna Lavender Hotel situated across from the north-west corner of the city moat was intended to be an all-in-one gay venue – hotel, roof-top restaurant, massage spa/sauna with pool and cabaret bar. Only the cabaret really worked with what many patrons felt was by far the best and most professional gay show in the country. When it opened, the venue announced it was “going to take the gay community into another dimension.” Sadly, with 110 rooms many of them still un-refurbished, the entire complex was just way too big. It quickly got into financial difficulties. Whether for that reason or some other, the owner took his own life and the hotel was sold.

Wat Ket Karem - By Callum McLeod

A point which all visitors should note is that there are in essence two gay scenes in Chiang Mai – a small one for foreigners and a much larger one for Thais. Thais prefer really big gay clubs with karaoke, ladyboy shows and coyote dancers. These tend not to get going till after midnight. Whilst foreigners will be welcome, it is vital to note this is not a commercial gay scene and these cute guys are there purely for entertainment with their friends, not to be picked up. It is certainly preferable if you have a Thai friend go with you and show you the ropes.

But I must add not all is doom and gloom in the Rose of the North. In addition to some excellent massage venues – make sure you specify the type of masseur you want and the ‘afters’ – there are still two excellent saunas. The House of Male in an old Thai house with a gym and pool is almost a Chiang Mai institution and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2017. Tucked in behind the Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel it is popular with students from the nearby University, especially on the 2-for-1 buddy nights. Further away near the Holiday Inn on the banks of the Ping River is a former hotel that has been turned into Club One Seven Sauna featuring the usual sauna facilities and a penis-shaped pool! Its small towel nights are popular.

To recover from the nightlife, Chiang Mai offers so much for the visitor. Apart from an amazing number of temples and the ancient city moat, go out of town for some elephant trekking or to visit an orchid farm. Take a trip up the mountain to the lovely Wat Phra Trat temple at Doi Suthep. Better still, if you are there in the rainy season or just after it finishes, hire a taxi and visit Doi Inthanon National Park with its lovely waterfalls. And don’t forget the shopping. Thai silks and handicrafts are cheaper here than in Bangkok.

I have included links to some of the gay venues in Chiang Mai within the article. For more info, have a look at Ratchada Cafe and Gay in Chiang Mai websites.

Plenty of Nice Isarn Guys at Thailand’s Amazing Ghost Festival in Loei

Some months ago in Bangkok I met a recent graduate. This handsome young man was thrilled to have landed himself a coveted job in a top hotel. Sooner or later he will make someone an excellent boyfriend. For his sake, though, I certainly hope it’s sooner. For I learned he has one real fear – he cannot sleep alone. He is desperately afraid that if he sleeps on his own, a ghost will appear, almost certainly not a friendly one!

In Thai culture there is a deep-rooted belief in all manner of spirits. This may seem strange in a Buddhist society and it is often hard to get Thais to talk about the subject. Perhaps the most obvious signs are the small-temple-like structures you see in front of most buildings. These beautifully made Spirit Houses are where the spirits can live, where offerings will be made every morning to appease them and ensure they do not bother the buildings’ human occupants. But spirits can often be helpful. The good ones will keep intruders away and assist with a variety of requests, from better paying jobs, ensuring good health to finding a partner and keeping the bad ghosts at bay.

Ghosts in Thailand are not the same as spirits, but a belief in the constant interaction between humans, spirits and ghosts is inbred in all Thais from childhood. Movies with a ghost theme abound. Mae Nak remains one of the most popular subjects. The story of Mae Nak and the horrors she can inflict has not only inspired more than a dozen movies, it has been made into a TV series, a musical – and even an opera! Nowhere is the belief in ghosts stronger than in the Isarn region. By way of celebrating this belief, an annual Ghost Festival known as Phi Ta Khon is held each year in Dansai in the north-east’s Loei Province.

Few outside Thailand will have heard of the mountainous Loei Province nestled west of Udon Thani with the Mekong and Laos as its northern border. The weather here is generally cooler in winter and hotter in summer. Yet the climate is ideal for many crops and fruits, including perhaps surprisingly wine-producing grapes. Under the name Chateau de Loei this vineyard between Loei and Dansai produces several varieties of Chenin Blanc and Syrah (Shiraz).

Dansai is a sleepy village of less than 10,000 inhabitants to the west of the city of Loei. Little happens here until one summer weekend when all hell breaks loose – literally! For Dansai’s Ghost Festival is by far the largest and certainly the most vibrant and celebrated of many smaller Ghost Festivals around the country. Huge numbers of visitors flock in from all over the Province and further afield for the Festival Parade in which many residents of Dansai and surrounding villages take part, most adorned in colourfully garish costumes and oversized elaborately decorated masks. Many have cowbells tied to their waists producing a total cacophony of sound. Fertility symbols abound. Some participants are on stilts wearing dirty white plain costumes but sporting outsize male genitals. Many ‘ghosts’ wield brightly coloured wooden swords carved to resemble the contours of a penis. Other parts of the Festival Parade have handsome young men and women in more traditional Thai costume.

The Festival has origins in Buddhism, specifically relating to the Buddha’s penultimate reincarnation. But for most of the participants, this mix of Buddhism, ancestor worship, spirits and ghosts is secondary. For them, the Parade is just a fantastic day for fun with friends and a once-a-year opportunity to take centre stage. When I was there two years ago, I had an amazing time and cannot recommend it more highly. The full Festival takes three days. The Parade is on Day 2, but Day 1 is also fascinating for visitors. It is usually held over the first weekend after the sixth full moon. Provisional dates for 2017 are June 23 – 25 but you should double-check nearer the end of this year.

As I write there are three daily flights to Loei from Bangkok. From Loei, Dansai is a good 90 minutes drive to the west. So you either need to hire a car, get the bus into Loei and then take a public bus over to Dansai, or get your hotel to arrange an airport transfer. Unfortunately there is only one real hotel located up on the hill behind the village, the Phu Pha Nam Resort and Spa, and it gets booked up very quickly for Festival days. It also hikes its rates! The hotel had certainly seen better days and was in need of some maintenance. On the other hand, the staff were extremely friendly, it is wonderfully peaceful, has a couple of good restaurants, free wi-fi, a nice pool and an on-demand shuttle minibus to the village and back. If you prefer a guesthouse in the village itself, take a good pair of wax earplugs, for the revels last well into the wee small hours! Loei itself has a selection of better hotels, but you will then have to endure the long bus ride to Dansai and back each day.

Plenty of Cock at Bangkok’s Most Original Shrine

Ok, we all have one – at least virtually all the guys reading this blog do. Often we worship it, suck it and fuck with it. Certainly we could never imagine life without it! So it is hardly surprising that this city with its fascinating variety of amazingly decorated temples and shrines should have one specially dedicated to it. Well, it’s actually quite a small shrine – dare I say, a reflection perhaps of those of some readers?

Bangkok Penis Shrine Info Board – By Callum McLeod

Bangkok Penis Shrine Info Board – By Callum McLeod

Enough of such frivolity! For there is a serious purpose here. “Here” is surely the most unusual of Bangkok’s shrines – one dedicated to none other than the male phallus. In Bangkok? A Penis Shrine? That is it precisely! When you think about it, though, the penis is a hugely potent symbol of fertility in virtually all Asian cultures. In Kawasaki in Japan there is a special annual Shinto Kanamara Matsuri (Festival of the Steel Phallus) in which large penis carvings are carried through the town. The thousands of spectators can feast themselves on penis-decorated bananas and penis-shaped ice cream. In Bhutan, there is a special Penis Temple not far from the glorious Punaka Dzong where the monk will bless visiting couples with a giant wooden phallus. Indeed, many Bhutanese houses have highly decorated penis paintings on their white walls. I even saw wooden penis carvings decorating the entrance to a farm emitting white strips of cotton! In the west, our culture makes us ridiculously sensitive to such displays. In Asia it is quite natural.

Now you know about the Bangkok shrine, your problem will be how to find it. I had been told it was behind the Swissotel Nailert Park off Wireless Road (Witthayu) in Central Bangkok, but in several visits had failed to find it. Finally, after an excellent buffet lunch in the hotel’s coffee shop looking on to the pool and garden, I joined some friends in a search. My mistake had been in thinking it was at the back of the hotel’s garden. Wrong! It is tucked away outside the main hotel grounds in a corner between the klong running alongside the property and the entrance to the hotel’s car park.

To get there, it’s easiest just to get the Skytrain to Chidlom station. Take the exit into the Central Chidlom Department store, go down the escalators to the ground floor and exit straight on to Ploenchit. Turn left, walk past the entrance to the large open car park and then turn first left. Walk about 5 minutes with Central Chidlom on your left and a small klong (well, really more of a stream) on your right. You will soon come to the entrance to the Swissotel’s car park near the end of the soi. Go in and immediately turn left. Just as the road to the underground car park turns right, you will see a small garden on your left. This is the Penis Shrine.

Bangkok Stone Penis Shrine – By Callum McLeod

The official name is on a sign at the entrance – the Chao Mae Tuptim Shrine dedicated to fertility. Around 100 years ago that block of Wireless Road was owned by a successful businessman named Nai Lert. Legend has it that he decided to erect a shrine to the female spirit “Chao Mae Tuptim”. Allegedly, one lady who came to make an offering at the shrine soon became pregnant. Word quickly spread. Soon many Thai ladies who hoped to conceive followed her example.

Bangkok Upright Penis Shrine – By Callum McLeod

There used to be hundreds of penis images here. For some reason the number has been reduced now to just a few dozen, some in weird and wonderful wood and stone shapes. It’s a curiosity rather than a must-see sight. But unquestionably a unique reminder of your visit to BangCOCK! Take your boyfriend or a Thai guy with you… Im sure the both of you will get horny looking at all the cock, then head somewhere private for some hot gay sex.

The Thai Teacher Who Got Away

A few months ago I was at work and an Asian guy come over to me and asked me how to get to a particular place near the beach. I told him that he was no where near where he wanted to be. He admitted to me that he was totally lost. He looked about 30 years old and was wearing tight dark blue jeans, a white T shirt and a nice black leather jacket. He wasn’t really attractive but for some reason I instantly took a liking to him and liked what I saw.

I was very busy with work and had to go but my gay radar clicked in and I had a feeling that he was gay. So I spent the time and explained to him how to get where he needed to go. All the time I kept looking down and could see a nice bulge in his jeans. His dick wasn’t hard, he just had a huge dick that was pressed up tight against his jeans and I could see the outline of it. It was an instant erection for me. I wanted to find out more about him so I asked where he was originally from hoping that he was from Thailand. Sure enough… He was from Thailand and we then started talking in Thai. He was impressed and wanted to know where I learnt Thai and I explained that I lived there for over 10 years.

Thai Teachers have Big Dicks

Do Thai Teachers have Big Dicks?

He asked me if I was married or had a girlfriend… I paused and said no I’m gay!! He suddenly nudged me and poked me in the ribs, I did the same to him and we couldn’t stop laughing. My work mates were looking at me from about 50 meters away but I didn’t care as I was happy talking to this guy. We chatted for another 5 minutes about stuff and he told me that he was a teacher from Isarn teaching Thai language in Australia for 4 months. I mentioned that he should come over to my place for a drink and dinner one night and he said “sure thing that would be great”. He asked for my phone number and I quickly wrote it down for him but I didn’t get his as I just assumed that he would call me. He asked me for a selfie of him and me together for Facebook and I happily obliged. We then said goodbye and he left and I called out as he walked away “call me”, he turned and smiled. I couldn’t stop thinking of him for over a week and was wishing that he would call me soon but he never did. Its been at least 3 months since we met, he is here for another month… I still may get lucky… I hope. I spoke to a tourism expert friend in Thailand about my encounter and he reckons that all the Thai teachers that he knows have big dicks!
